I love Anne Kendrick's new song Cups! It's my new obsession! Cups is the best song to list when someone decides that they don't need you any more because they are gonna miss you when they realize that you are gone.

Every year, I go through my hippie, surfer girls phase. I don't know if it is the weather or that I find a perfectly boho item to add to my wardrobe, but I love the earthly tone, exotic pattern, and the loose fit of the boho clothes. Currently my go to items I've been wearing are friendship bracelets, loose racerback tanks, and sheer scarves.

Elizabethtown is one of my all time favorite movies. This quote is one of my favorite lines to think of when I'm going through a rough time. There is no point in dwelling on the bad things in life but we all needs some time to process it. I think this quote sums it up perfectly.

Current Summer Beauty Essentials

Summer is now in full force in Baltimore and if you have ever been to Baltimore in the summer that mean 90 degree heat and humidity that so thick it feels like you are walking through a sauna. Okay, the might be a little dramatic but during the summer I need make-up that will last all day in the heat and sun. {disclaimer: All these products, I bought at Target, Riteaid, or CVS.}

Number One: Cetaphil UVA/UVA Defense SPF 50

I'm a huge fan of Cetaphil products and this is no exception. I either put this on under my foundation or mix a little in. It's light on the skin and doesn't run into my eye. It does take a minute or two to soak in but it keeps my fair skin from getting burnt. 

Number Two: Covergirl's Outlast, three in one foundation. 

This is another product with SPF but you can never have too much SPF in the summer. As you can tell, this foundation has been well loved by me in the spring and late winter. What's great about this product is that it eliminates the need for a concealer and it stays on all day! It doesn't feel heavy on the skin and it comes in a wide range of colors. It is more of medium coverage but I add some of my daily SPF when applying when I want a lighter coverage. 

Number Three: Maybelline's Baby Lips

I honestly think these lip balms are the greatest invention for the summer. They are light, moisturizing, and have tint of color. They don't feel like you are wearing any thing of your lips.

Number Four: Maybelline's Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze

This is another well loved product of mine. I bought this when it first came out and it's still going strong! This product is great for summer because it is a one stop shop. You can use it on it's own or put it under eyeshadow as a primer and it stays put all day, even in the humidity

Number Five: Rimmel's Scandal Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner in Black

In the humid air, waterproof makeup is essential. This eyeliner glides on at the beginning of the day and glides off at the end of the day. I pair this with my favorite waterproof mascara and never worry about having panda eyes at the end of the day. 

Number Six: Wet n' Wild's Mega Glo Illuminating Powder

I pick this up on a whim one day in the spring. This product has really became multipurpose for me. I use it as a highlighter, bronzer, and eyeshadows. I was really surprised by how long lasting it was as a eyeshadow. It gives a beautiful beachy golden look when used on the eyes. 

Number Seven: E.L.F's Contouring Blush and Bronzer

Besides for the large mirror, I use this everyday on my cheeks for a peachy glow. The blush has gold sparkles in it that nice summery glow to the skin. Unfortunately, the bronzer is too dark for my skin but it's a good shade for filling in my eyebrows
